- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, including conveyors, rolling mills, pumps, gearboxes, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose faults and repair breakdowns promptly to minimize production delays.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
- Dismantle and assemble equipment and components with precision using appropriate tools.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and complies with company and legal health and safety standards.
- Lubricate machines and replace worn parts as per maintenance schedule.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or production lines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and parts used.
- Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams as needed.
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team
- Willingness to work in shifts and during plant shutdowns
- Basic computer knowledge for maintenance logging/reporting (preferred)
