Albertsons Companies India is a vital extension of the Albertsons Companies Inc. workforce and important to the next phase in the company & technology journey to support millions of customers & lives every day.Job DescriptionPosition Title : Manager EngineeringJob Description:Roles & responsibilities :Lead 1-2 medium size projects and manage 1-2 subsystems.Oversee a team of 8 - 10 resources(may include contractors).Lead, manage and coach your team of data professionals, developing top talent and creating an attractive proposition for employees and external hires.Articulate the link between the companys data-related technical capabilities and business needs, to ensure the organization understands the value of data-driven solutions.Understand what data is available for the enterprise and how it can be leveraged to support the organizations missions.Communicate effectively across organizational, technical, and political boundaries, understanding the context. You can advocate and communicate what the team does to create trust and authenticity.You know how to successfully react and respond to challenge.Maintain relationships with members of the organization who perform analytics work to understand their needs and find ways to improve their capabilities and output qualityExperience Required :

8-12 years of experience
7+ Strong technical background and understanding of data architecture and how it can be leveraged.
In-depth advanced knowledge and experience in the execution of data initiatives, leading to the development of useful insights and the improvement of a businesss performance and growth.
In-depth advanced knowledge paired with business acumen find ways to leverage the data the company has available to solve business problems.
Collaborative work with other members of the organization to drive business value.
Technical and management ability to lead a team to help design and implement an efficient and credible flow of data across the organization utilizing industry best practices.
Strong technical background and understanding of data architecture and how it can be leveraged.
Strong communication skills to articulate value of data to different business leaders.
Experience creating business value from data analysis

Skills Required :

7-10+ years of experience in development and engineering.
Experience leading technical and functional development teams.
Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Strong communication and leadership skills
Strong Analytical and Problem Solving skills
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Java, ReactJS, HTML, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
Experience with Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and API management.
Strong system design skills.
Results-oriented with a high degree of initiative and sense of urgency.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior management, technical experts, and business customers.
Strong engineering delivery skills with a bias for action and customer focus.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Operations, and Technology) to maintain high levels of visibility, efficiency, and collaboration.

Additional Skills Required:

Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Mockito)
Familiarity with data streaming platforms like Kafka
Experience with Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or other NoSQL and SQL database management systems
Knowledge of Copilot and other similar tools
