JobType: full-timeRequirementsWe are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Group Product Manager (GPM) to lead our product portfolio in the pharmaceutical domain. The ideal candidate will bring over 11 years of proven experience in pharma product management, brand building, and marketing strategy. This role is critical in driving the growth, positioning, and market success of our pharmaceutical products across therapeutic segments.As a Group Product Manager, you will be responsible for strategic planning, brand management, product launches, lifecycle management, and cross-functional leadership. You will work closely with medical affairs, R&D, sales, and marketing teams to ensure the organization delivers innovative, high-quality products that address evolving patient and physician needs.Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term product strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and therapeutic area insights to shape brand positioning.
  • Identify opportunities for new product development, line extensions, and portfolio expansion.
  • Brand & Marketing Management
  • Lead the creation of brand plans, marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and communication strategies for assigned products.
  • Ensure scientific accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines in all marketing collateral.
  • Drive digital marketing and multichannel engagement strategies to enhance brand visibility and physician engagement.
  • Product Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle, from launch planning to maturity and phase-out decisions.
  • Monitor product performance through KPIs, market share analysis, and sales data.
  • Provide inputs for pricing strategy, reimbursement models, and market access initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure effective product positioning, demand generation, and field force training.
  • Collaborate with medical affairs, R&D, regulatory, and supply chain to ensure timely product launches and consistent availability.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align product strategies with overall business goals.
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of product managers and executives, fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Provide training, coaching, and career development opportunities to build strong product management capabilities.
  • Encourage innovation, ownership, and collaboration within the team.
  • Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physicians, healthcare providers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, scientific forums, and professional associations.
  • Gather insights from stakeholders to refine strategies and ensure patient-centric solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Healthcare Management preferred.
  • Minimum of 11+ years of experience in pharmaceutical product management, with a strong track record of brand launches and lifecycle management.
  • Deep understanding of therapeutic areas, regulatory environment, and pharma marketing practices.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing teams and large product portfolios.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
