The ideal candidate is highly analytical, self-driven, and passionate about delivering tangible business outcomes.As a Senior Business Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end P&L ownership of one of our Rummy brands or a strategic horizontal stream such as Tournaments.Here's what you'll do?● Own AOP Metrics: Track Gross & Net Commission, DAU, and Time Spent with real-time dashboards and quick alerts for deviations● Monitor Revenue & DAU: Use daily insights and causal analysis to detect and correct revenue or engagement shifts swiftly.spot trends early, and proactively resolve unplanned revenue changes.● Customer Focus : Identify pain points via usage analytics, feedback and support data; design solutions to enhance engagement and satisfaction.● Run Experiments for continuous improvement: Plan, execute, learn, and iterate fast to optimize user engagement, retention and monetization.● New Growth Levers: proactively explore and identify newer ideas of growth - segmented campaigns, personalized communication, Incentives and Rewards etc● Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Align marketing, product, tech, and customer success on shared goals with transparent communication.● Build Strong Teams: Hire and develop analysts and ops staff who own results, champion experimentation, and collaborate closely.WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE STAND OUT IN THE MARKET?It's a high-impact, high visibility role at the core of a rapidly scaling product.● Develop a Founder Mindset: You are the owner of your brand/stream, responsible for both revenue and profit. As our business relies entirely on user engagement, this role offers a unique opportunity to gain intimate insights into Indian consumer behavior and psychology-knowledge that will be invaluable for your career in the fast-growing Indian startup ecosystem.● Learn Cross-Functionally: This role requires extensive collaboration across teams-product, technology, design, marketing, and customer success-providing you with a well-rounded foundation to grow into a general management role within India's digital ecosystem.● Smart, Fast, Focused Peers: You'll work alongside some of the sharpest minds in the digital economy industry - people who thrive on big problems, move fast, and never compromise on quality.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?● 5-7 years of experience, with 3 years in Analytics and 2-4 years in managing a business metric/revenue in high growth and dynamic environment● Inherent drive to grow, go big, challenge the status quo and Ability to Drive Results● Capability to consume/analyze data, and derive meaningful and actionable insights to solve business problems● Curiosity to understand customer behavior to drive business growth● Bias for action, someone who can seamlessly transition between high level brainstorming and ground level execution to get things done● Experience managing a team of 2+ associates● “Hands on”, self-driven approach, Flexibility, and ability to work well under pressureWHAT WOULD THE FOCUS AREAS FOR THIS ROLE LOOK LIKE?As a Senior Business Manager, you will be accountable for delivering the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) metrics - Revenue, Retention, Engagement, and Tournaments - through ownership-driven execution.Key Responsibilities● Revenue & Retention Ownership○ Own and drive the growth charter for one of the Rummy brands.○ Deliver AOP revenue, retention, and engagement targets by executing initiatives, improvements, and experiments that enhance the user journey.● Retention & Engagement Metrics○ Implement new strategies and optimize existing processes to boost user engagement and monetization.○ Continuously analyze player behavior to identify high-impact opportunities.● Customer Obsession○ Proactively identify potential customer issues and design solutions that create significant business impact.○ Champion the voice of the customer across all business decisions.● Team Leadership○ Manage a team of Senior Business Analysts and Associate Business Managers to deliver measurable business outcomes.○ Identify growth opportunities for team members and develop them for next roles.● Stakeholder Management○ Collaborate with Product, Marketing, customer success and Engineering teams to execute cross-functional initiatives seamlessly.● People & Culture Contribution○ Mentor peers, drive team productivity, and actively contribute to building a high-performance, collaborative culture.
