Job Description :Job Description PurposeThe Head of Capability Development is a key role in the team, primarily responsible for shaping, scoping, planning and managing delivery of the approach to capability development for our field force that meets both the organisation’s current and future Talent/capability needs across skills, qualifications, leadership and management and the wider organisation transformation agenda. Responsibilitya. Ensure that the organization has a clear plan and framework to hire, Train and develop the capability it needs to deliver.b. Partner with the Government institutions involved with skill development, like NSTI, ESSC, CSC, NSDC, etc. creating1. Steady source of talent pool for the frontline roles2. Training infrastructure sharing for Train and Hire talentc. Create infrastructure to facilitate training for the new hire enabling Ready For Role (RFR) in hire and Train modeld. Ensure continuous skill development of the frontline talent ensuring readiness for the jobe. Drive the implement Learning/Capability framework, and initiatives on specific training program through:1. training needs analyses to support business growth2. program design and delivery3. measurement of training effectivenessf. Develop and facilitate a train the trainer model to support the distribution of behavioural and functional training contentg. Research vendors to provide services; managing and review vendor proposals, monitor quality of material, managing costs and assessing program effectivenessh. Budget support, including tracking learning/ leadership and functional spends. Skillsa. Demonstrable business acumen, able to think strategicallyb. Excellent leadership and relationship management skills with proven ability to influence at senior level, demonstrates insistence on the highest standards, and leads by examplec. Proven team building and communication skills, including the ability to lead others whilst managing significant uncertainty and ambiguityd. Structured approach to delivering solutions and proven ability to engage to embrace new ways of workinge.
