You will play a key role in the development, construction, and operation of wind energy projects. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, project management, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wind energy, with the ability to contribute to the entire life cycle of wind farm projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site assessments to evaluate the suitability of locations for wind energy projects. Perform feasibility studies to analyze wind resources, environmental impact, and economic viability. Collaborate with wind turbine manufacturers to select suitable turbine models based on site conditions and project requirements. Design wind turbine layouts to optimize energy production, considering factors such as wind direction, terrain, and wake effects. Work closely with project development teams to plan and coordinate all aspects of wind farm projects. Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans. Navigate through the permitting process, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Prepare and submit permit applications and collaborate with regulatory authorities. Collaborate with civil and electrical engineers to design access roads, foundations, and electrical infrastructure for wind turbines. Ensure the integration of the wind farm with the electrical grid. Provide technical oversight during the construction phase, ensuring that all aspects of the project adhere to design specifications. Collaborate with construction teams to address any issues that may arise. Develop and implement O&M plans to ensure the ongoing performance and reliability of wind turbines. Analyze data from SCADA systems and other sources to monitor and optimize the performance of wind turbines. Implement measures to enhance energy production and operational efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Previous experience in the wind energy industry, with a focus on wind farm development and operations. Strong understanding of wind turbine technology and design principles. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations. Project management skills and proficiency in project management software.
