*Reporting To:* Founder / CEO / DirectorJob Overview:We are looking to hire a highly driven and experienced *Head of Marketing & Business Development* to lead the growth of our *cosmetics and beauty brand. The ideal candidate must have **extensive experience in the beauty/cosmetics industry, with a strong focus on **D2C, eCommerce, and Retail channels*.You will be responsible for building and executing brand strategy, driving customer acquisition, increasing market share, and developing partnerships across online and offline platforms.---Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Marketing & Business Development function across D2C website, eCommerce platforms (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, etc.), retail stores, and other channels.
- Drive brand growth and visibility through strategic marketing campaigns, influencer collaborations, and digital initiatives.
- Manage performance marketing, SEO/SEM, content strategy, CRM, social media, and loyalty programs.
- Develop and manage relationships with retail partners, distributors, and eCommerce platforms.
- Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to refine brand positioning and strategy.
- Oversee product launches, pricing strategy, and marketing calendar.
- Build and lead a high-performing team across marketing, creative, and digital functions.
- Track KPIs, analyze data, and ensure strong ROI on marketing spends.
- 6 to 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing and business development, preferably in the cosmetics, beauty, or personal care industry.
- Proven experience in D2C marketing, eCommerce operations, and omnichannel brand strategy.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand building, and consumer engagement.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, etc.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Must be highly entrepreneurial, proactive, and growth-focused.
