This position is a management position at GLOBALFOUNDRIES' India, Bangalore, for supporting 200 and 300mm wafer fabs which are located at US, Singapore, and Germany. The responsibilities include wafers processing in the fab’s and delivery to the customers, communicate with counterparts in respective fabs.
To lead a team of Product Engineers in making contributions to ET Health of line monitoring and yield improvement.
To coordinate Product Engineering/Process Integration/Yield Engineering/Failure Analysis/Reliability groups in adopting best approach to resolve Wafer Sort / Final Test / Field Failures as well as to work with Customer Engineers/Field Engineers/customers

Your job:

Lead and manage the PI and YE teams, ensuring technical guidance and mentorship to engineers for their professional growth and development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive ET/Yield improvement in the fab. Have an overall view of the improvement activities in the fab, and the impact to the product line.
Track the product ET/Yield, based on events in the fab (improvements/excursions) to provide a yield forecast.
Motivate/Direct engineers for competitive yield improvement roadmap execution.
Set-up and acquire necessary information from Fab team to ensure correct analysis performed by the BLR Team
Support cost reduction through yield improvement activities
Responsible and accountable for complying with and implementing environmental, health, safety and security (EHSS) system, policies, procedures and guidelines that are applicable to your scope of work, thereby maintaining a healthy and safe workplace .

Required Qualification:

PHD/Masters/Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Science in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science
More than 6 years in semiconductor product/process engineering are required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address yield-related issues and challenges.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
