The Amazon Pay Online Merchants team is at the forefront of revolutionizing digital payments in India, with a clear mission to build a self-sustained, convenient, trusted, and rewarding payment experience for affluent customers across demand-relevant online merchants.The team operates across two key channels: Direct integration with Top 100 strategic merchants and Aggregator partnerships serving 100K+ active merchants. We have a unique advantage in serving online merchants who have high affluent customer penetration, enabling ubiquitous acceptance of Amazon Pay products while furthering the overall flywheel.Our opportunity landscape spans across a massive INR 48 trillion P2M payments industry (growing at 15% CAGR), where we're evolving from being just a payment instrument (1-15% of merchant volume) to becoming a comprehensive payment solution provider. While our current focus has been on high-frequency, low-ticket size use cases through Amazon Pay Balance, we're expanding into new segments like Travel (9-10% TPV share), torso e-commerce (7-8%), and building capabilities for Wealth & Investment (40%+ TPV share) through Amazon Pay Later and other innovations.The team is structured to deliver on four strategic priorities:
1. Building differentiated payment experiences through Smart Wallet initiatives
2. Scaling merchant acceptance with best-in-industry integration experiences
3. Creating full-stack checkout solutions for both internal and external merchants
4. Developing sustainable revenue streams through innovative offeringsWe work in a dynamic ecosystem that's seeing significant changes - from regulatory shifts and new entrants to evolving merchant needs and customer preferences. Our team collaborates across multiple organizations including Tech, Risk, UX, Business Development, and Operations to deliver solutions that delight customers while driving business growth.This is a high-visibility team within Amazon Pay, directly impacting key business metrics while shaping the future of digital payments in India. We're looking for passionate individuals who can bring fresh perspectives, strong execution capabilities, and customer obsession to help us achieve our mission.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process
