Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science , or a related technical field.
3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization.
Experience with e-commerce tools/data or billing systems.

Design and deliver key platform features of YouTube Commerce.
Lead a team, own and drive all aspects of engineering work including requirements definition, design, implementation, integration, test, release, monitoring, and sustaining.
Develop the long-term technical roadmap within billing and checkout and beyond the scope of the teams. Evolve the roadmap to meet anticipated future requirements and infrastructure needs.
Collaborate with team lead, and product managers across various teams of YouTube Commerce to ensure alignment on direction, plans and execution.
