- Own Payments Capabilities: Drive product strategy and execution for key payments platform features such as authorization flows, routing, and settlement services.
- Support Vendor Integrations: Partner with global payment processors, fraud vendors, and other FinTech providers to deliver reliable, cost-effective integrations that enhance customer trust.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with stakeholders in Payments, Financing, Loyalty, Fraud, Cart/Checkout, and Finance to align business objectives with platform priorities.
- Enable Scalable Infrastructure: Partner with Engineering to design APIs and services that can handle high throughput and global scale, while ensuring resilience and extensibility.
- Measure & Optimize: Define and track KPIs like authorization rates, decline reasons, and payment costs. Use data to drive continuous improvements in conversion and efficiency.
- Ensure Compliance & Security: Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Security teams to ensure that payments systems meet regulatory and compliance requirements globally.
- Champion Reliability: Contribute to building systems with strong observability, redundancy, and failover strategies to minimize customer disruption.
- Overall 6+ years of experience and 2-4 years of product management experience, ideally in payments, FinTech, or related e-commerce platform technology.
- Understanding of core payments concepts such as authorization, routing, tokenization, chargebacks, and settlement.
- Comfort engaging with engineering teams on architecture, APIs, and system design trade-offs - no coding required, but technical fluency is expected.
- Strong product instincts and a platform-oriented mindset - you're motivated to build foundational capabilities that unlock downstream value.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience aligning business and technical teams.
- Analytical skills to interpret payments data, identify trends, and prioritize improvements.
- Experience with third-party vendor integrations in payments or fraud is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
