ELECTRICIAN FOR FOUNDRY PLANT - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• Installation and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, and control panels, often working with high voltage systems (up to 480V or higher three-phase systems).
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical problems and malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize production downtime, using a variety of testing devices such as multimeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance, safety, and operational reliability.
• System Integration: Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and automation control systems, including programming and troubleshooting related electronic hardware.
• Safety and Compliance: Implement and enforce strict adherence to safety procedures, lockout/tag-out procedures, and all relevant local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations (e.g., National Electrical Code, OSHA standards).
• Documentation and Planning: Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan and execute projects. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with engineers, production teams, and other tradespeople (mechanical, instrumentation) to ensure seamless operations and assist in the training/mentoring of junior staff.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a technical degree or completion of an apprenticeship program preferred.
• Experience: Proven work experience as an industrial electrician, ideally within a heavy industry or steel plant environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and codes; experience with hand tools and testing equipment; proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Physical Demands: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
