Job Title: Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Sales (Transmission Line Tower & Structurals)Location: Gandhidham, GujaratIndustry: Transmission Line Towers, Structural Steel FabricationReports To: General Manager/VP - Sales & MarketingExperience Required: 12-18 Years (with a strong background in EPC Project Sales and Government Liasioning)Job Purpose:To lead and manage PAN India sales for Transmission Line Towers (TLT) and Structural Steel Products, focusing on EPC Projects, Government & PSU tenders, and key account development. The role demands strategic market development, techno-commercial acumen, and strong government/EPC sales interface.Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Business Development:- Drive revenue and market share growth for TLT and structural steel products across India.- Identify and develop new EPC, Government, and infrastructure clients.- Execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets in the infrastructure, power, and industrial sectors.- Manage the complete bid-to-award cycle for EPC/Turnkey projects.2. Government & PSU Liasioning:- Interface with ministries (Power, Railways, Defence, etc.), PSUs (PGCIL, NTPC, GAIL, etc.), and state electricity boards.- Track upcoming tenders, empanelment processes, and build strategic government relations.- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for bidding and execution.3. Project & Key Account Management:- Build long-term relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, and government bodies.- Manage large-scale projects from lead generation to order closure and handover.- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing strategies, and payment follow-ups.4. Team Leadership & Coordination:- Lead and mentor a team of Regional/Area Sales Managers.- Coordinate with Engineering, Tendering, Project Execution, and Finance departments.- Ensure effective customer communication and technical solution presentation.Key Skills & Competencies:- Proven experience in EPC/Government Project Sales in the TLT or Infrastructure Sector- Excellent network across government departments, PSUs, and EPC players- Strong understanding of tendering processes (BOQ, RFQ, E-tendering, etc.)- Sound technical knowledge of steel structures, fabrication, galvanizing, and erection- Strategic thinker with strong leadership and negotiation skills- Willingness to travel extensively across IndiaQualifications:- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering (preferred)- MBA in Marketing/Sales will be an added advantage (ref:updazz.com)
