- Lead the techno-commercial function at the site, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and business goals.
- Develop and implement site-level commercial strategies to support production, sales, and profitability targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across commercial operations, leveraging lean principles and digital tools.
- 2. Commercial Operations & Financial Oversight
- Oversee all commercial activities including procurement, vendor negotiations, cost control, and budgeting.
- Conduct financial analysis of technical proposals, capital expenditures, and operational costs to ensure ROI.
- 3. Contract Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle including drafting, negotiation, execution, and compliance.
- Ensure contracts are aligned with legal, regulatory, and operational standards.
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs; initiate corrective actions for non-compliance.
- 4. Supply Chain & Vendor Development
- Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Lead vendor audits, onboarding, and capability assessments.
- Optimize inventory levels and logistics to support uninterrupted production and delivery schedules.
- 5. Client Relationship & Business Development
- Support business development efforts by providing technical and commercial inputs for proposals and bids.
- 6. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build and lead a high-performing techno-commercial team at the site.
- Drive capability development through training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical.
- MBA/PGDM in Purchase Management / SCM / Materials Management
- 10 to 12 years in techno-commercial roles, with at least 5 years as Site Head - TCD within the wire and cables or allied manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing high-value contracts and service agreements.
- Ability to interpret legal clauses and mitigate contractual risks.
- Skilled in managing multi-vendor environments and long-term supply agreements.
