- Lead the full lifecycle of EPC projects: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers.
- Ensure interdepartmental coordination for timely and cost-effective execution.
- Conduct regular project reviews, track progress (DPR/WPR), and escalate issues proactively.
- Manage client interactions, contractual obligations, and change requests.
- Validate budget utilization against project execution benchmarks and profitability targets.
- Oversee site activities including fabrication, erection, commissioning, and performance validation.
- Ensure timely deployment of manpower and strict adherence to safety and productivity norms.
- Resolve technical issues on-site, liaise with stakeholders, and maintain execution continuity.
- Facilitate inspections, approvals, and smooth handover of projects to clients.
- Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning phases, ensuring system readiness and compliance.
- Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and client validations.
- Manage final handover documentation, O&M training, and post-handover support.
- Supervise design and engineering deliverables across mechanical, process, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
- Review and approve P&IDs, GA drawings, datasheets, BOQs, and layout plans.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards (IS, ASME, OISD, PESO, NFPA).
- Integrate automation controls (PLC/SCADA) and safety logic within system designs.
- Coordinate with consultants and design teams to meet delivery timelines.
- Provide technical support during procurement: RFQs, vendor assessments, and clarifications.
- Assist in finalizing POs and managing supplier schedules, inspections, and quality audits.
- Ensure timely delivery, installation, and integration of bought-out items and systems.
- Maintain updated engineering documentation with version control.
- Prepare and manage DPRs, WPRs, MOMs, site reports, and progress dashboards.
- Finalize and archive "As-Built" drawings, commissioning dossiers, and handover packages.
- Mentor engineers, site supervisors, and project staff for performance and skill development.
- Contribute to SOP creation, engineering templates, and standardized practices.
- Collaborate in ERP deployment and digitization of project management workflows.
- Work with Business Development for pre-sales engineering, proposals, and client pitches.
- Participate in project estimation, costing, and value engineering for improved profitability.
- Offer insights for design optimization and execution strategies to maximize project outcomes.
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Civil Engineering.
- 8–12 years of experience in EPC project execution, engineering, and commissioning.
- Strong exposure to ammonia/chemical/gas/utility-based industrial projects.
- MS Project / Primavera / AutoCAD
- Strong communication & coordination
- Leadership, problem-solving, and customer orientation
- Knowledge of safety standards (OISD, PESO, NFPA)
