The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing effective product portfolio strategies, ensuring high-quality marketing inputs, and strengthening field support to maximize brand visibility and prescription generation. This role demands strategic thinking, market intelligence, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and field managers to drive sustainable growth.Requirements:Key Responsibilities1. Portfolio Strategy & Brand Planning
  • Develop, implement, and refine effective portfolio strategies to enhance market share and long-term brand positioning.
  • Continuously evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and prescription patterns to align portfolio objectives with organizational goals.
  • Ensure the creation of quality print and digital inputs that support promotional campaigns and field activities.
2. Market Intelligence & Strategy Meetings
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret market intelligence to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct regular strategy meetings with internal stakeholders to review performance, share insights, and design effective action plans.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to optimize product positioning and maximize secondary sales.
3. Field Support & Engagement
  • Offer regular support to field teams by providing them with effective tools, communication aids, and marketing strategies.
  • Actively connect with field managers and conduct joint field work to understand ground realities and strengthen execution.
  • Participate in field meetings, conferences, and CMEs (Continuing Medical Education programs) to reinforce brand presence and support medical engagement.
4. Sales & Prescription Growth
  • Work closely with sales leadership to monitor secondary sales performance and implement corrective strategies where required.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at increasing prescriptions and ensuring sustainable demand generation.
  • Partner with the sales and marketing team to design impactful campaigns that translate into measurable business outcomes.
5. Operational Excellence & Confidentiality
  • Manage allied operational activities including planning, execution, and follow-ups on marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality protocols when handling sensitive product, medical, and strategic information.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, regulatory, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related discipline; MBA in Marketing or Healthcare Management preferred.
  • 3-6 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical product management, marketing, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of pharma marketing practices, prescription generation, and field force collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective portfolio strategies aligned with market needs.
  • Experience in conducting CMEs, conferences, and field-level engagements with healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent analytical skills with expertise in market intelligence gathering and competitor mapping.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence cross-functional teams, field managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
