Facility : TransportationKey Responsibilities:Supervise fettling processes such as grinding, cutting, shot blasting, chipping, and finishing of metal castings.
Allocate work to fettlers based on shift schedules and production plans.
Ensure all castings are cleaned, dressed, and prepared as per quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
Identify and segregate castings with defects; report to the quality or foundry team.
Monitor use and maintenance of hand tools, grinders, and safety equipment.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE by all fettling workers.
Train new fettlers and monitor worker performance.
Maintain daily reports on production, rework, manpower, and scrap generated.
Coordinate with melting, molding, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow.Notes:
