- Collaborate with Tech teams, implementation partners, and our HR Functional teams in this exciting journey of continuous implementation, optimization, adoption, and embedding Wordday and associated HR Systems for Ares Management.
- At project inception, partner with functional leads to build a compelling business case, articulate value and impact to the organization. Participate in prioritization discussions
- Deploy new features in Wordday and other HR technologies, lead discussions and document requirements clearly with business users. Prototype solution design/configuration options for user review, develop test plans and user acceptance criteria for features, lead test phases. Collaborate on producing training materials, and support model for new system improvements.
- In Partnership with business functions in HR (Talent Management, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, etc.), facilitate discussions to understand and detail problems, process changes, and new functionality requests with users.
- Proactive Solutioning - Monitor application releases, and review functionality for recommendation to functional teams, factoring business value, resource availability, and level of effort, when formulating recommendations.
- Design and deploy new and enhanced functionality, including document requirements clearly, test management, and communications to users and support teams.
- Provide technical consultation to business partners and centers of expertise (CoEs) to enable their program vision
- Provide operational support for scheduled reporting and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) transactions.
- Find opportunities to improve HCM data quality, drive continuous improvements within the tech and functional teams
- Provide support for Wordday, including researching and resolving complex Wordday problems, unexpected results or process issues

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or Finance
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant Workday HCM and HRIS/HRIT experience with specific experience in the following functional areas:
- HCM
- Report Writer
- Core Connectors
- EIB’s and Reporting
- Experience with Web Services technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
- Timekeeping & Absence
- Knowledge of business process configuration, security administration and reporting
- Experience managing system updates and releases
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Human Resources workflows, ADP Payroll, and other HCM processes preferred
- Knowledge of Agile project management methodology preferred
- Prior experience with broader asset management preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
