1. Admission Guidance:
- Responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information about various courses, programs, and admission requirements to prospective students.
- Assist students in selecting suitable courses according to their educational background and career aspirations.
- Effectively address and resolve any queries or concerns raised by students and their parents/guardians regarding admissions.2. Application Processing:
- Receive and review application forms and supporting documents submitted by prospective students.
- Verify the authenticity and completeness of the documents and communicate any missing information.
- Maintain a well-organized database of applications and ensure timely responses to student queries during the admission process.3. Student Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and guardians to ensure a seamless admission experience.
- Engage with students through various communication channels like email, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Address any grievances or concerns raised by students and provide prompt and satisfactory resolutions.4. Admission Events and Outreach:
- Participate in educational fairs, workshops, seminars, and other outreach events to represent Chandigarh University and promote its educational programs.
- Conduct presentations and seminars to create awareness about the courses and admission process.
- Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop and disseminate admission-related materials across various platforms.5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with students, including inquiries, applications, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Generate reports and provide regular updates to the management on the progress of admissions, targets achieved, and potential areas of improvement.Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline is mandatory. A master's degree would be an added advantage.
- Previous experience working as an admission counselor or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and team members.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage admission-related processes efficiently.
- Good knowledge of the education system and higher education opportunities in India.
- Proficient in using various computer applications and admission management software.
