- Grades 9–10 (Profile Building Focus): Helping students discover academic/career interests and guiding them to build a strong, holistic profile.
- Grades 11–12 (Admissions Focus): Guiding students through the college admissions process, from university shortlisting to crafting applications.
- Conduct career exploration and interest mapping sessions.
- Design multi-year roadmaps covering academics, extracurricular activities, research, internships, volunteering, and summer schools.
- Recommend tailored activities such as online courses, competitions, projects, and community service.
- Track student growth and adjust plans as interests evolve.
- Guide students in university shortlisting based on academic background, interests, and career goals.
- Assist with application essays, resumes, and recommendation letters.
- Provide feedback on personal statements and ensure applications highlight the student’s strengths.
- Support students through the application timeline: testing, deadlines, interview prep, and scholarships.
- Maintain consistent communication with students and parents to ensure progress and alignment.
- Stay updated on global admissions trends, scholarships, and testing requirements (SAT, ACT, IELTS/TOEFL).
- Ensure personalized attention (maximum ~50 students per counselor).
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Education, Psychology, or related fields.
- Prior experience as a school counselor, career coach, or admissions advisor strongly preferred.
- Understanding of international curricula (IB, A-Levels, AP, CBSE, etc.) and study-abroad pathways.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Study abroad experience (preferred).
