Job Title: Admission CounsellorAs an Admission Counsellor at Chandigarh University, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to prospective students throughout the admission process. Your primary objective will be to help students understand the various programs offered at the university, and guide them through the application and enrollment procedures.Key responsibilities of the role include:1. Providing accurate and up-to-date information about admission requirements, program offerings, and application deadlines to prospective students and their families.
2. Conducting informational sessions and campus tours to potential students, and assisting them in making informed decisions about their academic future.
3. Assisting students with completing the application process, including helping them gather the necessary documentation and providing guidance on essay writing and interview preparation.
4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with high school counsellors and other educational institutions to promote the university's programs and increase student referrals.
5. Collaborating with the admissions team to ensure a smooth and efficient admission process, and participating in recruitment events and fairs as needed.
6. Keeping detailed records of all interactions with prospective students, and following up with them to address any questions or concerns they may have.To be successful in this role, you should have a genuine interest in helping students achieve their academic and career aspirations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
