Role SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in IT sales to drive business growth, manage key client relationships, and lead sales initiatives for solutions built on open-source technologies. The candidate should have proven experience in closing high-value deals and managing the complete sales cycle.Key Responsibilities- Own and achieve revenue and growth targets for IT services- Identify new business opportunities through networking, partnerships, and outbound sales- Lead end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure- Engage with CXOs, decision-makers, and enterprise clients- Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams for solution alignment- Prepare and present proposals, RFP responses, and commercial agreements- Develop go-to-market strategies for open-source-based solutions- Build, manage, and mentor the sales and business development team- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reportsCore Skills & Experience- 5+ years of proven experience in IT sales or business development- Strong exposure to open-source technologies (Node.js, Python, PHP, React, Angular, MySQL, MongoDB, CMS platforms, etc.)- Experience selling custom software, web, mobile, and cloud solutions- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills- Ability to work with global clients and multiple stakeholders (ref:updazz.com)
