Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Experience building large-scale distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Leverage Google's technical advancements to build features.
Lead and manage a team of Software Engineers, fostering a collaborative environment, this includes hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development.
Drive technical excellence within the team, promoting code quality, thorough testing, and adherence to Google's engineering standards.
Identify and address technical challenges and risks, making decisions and trade-offs to ensure timely delivery.
