Youll oversee and maintain critical machinery such as CNC, VMC, VTL and Plano Miller, ensuring maximum uptime and performance. This role requires hands-on expertise, strategic troubleshooting and proactive collaboration with production teams.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular maintenance and health checks on machine shop equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues during manufacturing operations
  • Collaborate with production teams to enhance equipment reliability
  • Lead installation and commissioning of new machinery
  • Maintain detailed logs of repairs, maintenance tasks and equipment inventory
  • Coordinate with external vendors for parts procurement and service support
  • Mentor junior staff and build technical capabilities within the team
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • 4 - 5 years of hands-on experience with machine shop equipment: CNC, VMC, VTL, Plano Miller etc.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals and engineering blueprints
  • Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge
  • Skilled in using diagnostic and maintenance tools
  • Excellent troubleshooting ability and communication skills
  • Preference for candidates based in or near Bhilai
