Job Description: Shift Supervisor CNC Machine Operations & ProgrammingLocation: Bhilai, ChhattisgarhIndustry Focus: Steel, Power, Mining, Railways, Heavy MachineryOpenings: Multiple PositionsA reputed engineering and manufacturing group with over 50 years of excellence is seeking experienced Shift Supervisors for CNC machine operations. The organization delivers critical equipment and turnkey solutions to steel plants, power stations, cement facilities and rail infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities

Program and operate CNC machines (HBM, VMC, VTL, Plano Miller) using Siemens and Fanuc controllers
Troubleshoot tooling, programming and machine issues to ensure smooth operations
Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize machining of components like locomotive crankcases, metro frames and power plant assemblies
Mentor operators in CNC programming and best practices
Improve machine utilization and reduce cycle times
Recommend upgrades based on emerging CNC technologies
Maintain documentation of programs and machining parameters
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards

Qualifications

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical or Production Engineering
5 - 6 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining in steel, power, mining or railways
Proficiency in G-code, M-code, CAD/CAM software and precision measuring tools
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Leadership and communication abilities
Experience in installation, operator training and technical support is a plus
