H/She will be a Programme Lead and will oversee the Foundation's Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) programme.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the development, and lead the overall FLN programme strategy and operations.
- Lead the FLN programme development, management, and execution of existing and new programmes, drawing from experience to provide sector specific inputs on how to maximise impact on the ground.
- Manage FLN partnerships, liaising with national and international partners in implementing large-scale programmes that improve learning outcomes of children at the bottom of the pyramid.
- Contribute to FLN programme design and implementation including providing inputs on outcome metrics, performance management systems, and collaboration plans (e.g. with the government and/or NGOs)
- Act as liaison and manage the relationship with any technical implementation partners.
- Work with senior stakeholders to leverage the organisations expertise in the FLN education space to bring insights and best practices into our programmes.
- Post Graduate Degree in any of the fields related to the development sector.
- Minimum 7-10 years of social sector experience.
- Experience of implementing large scale development projects.
- Thorough knowledge of the social sector and specialist expertise in the education space in India.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- S/he should have experience with managing large-scale education programmes.
- S/he should have international experience.
- Good educational background.
- Self-starter who takes ownership and responsibility for his/her projects.
- Ability to manage a team.
- Team player with leadership skills.
- Capable to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills in an international environment.
