- Oversee and manage statutory compliance framework, ensuring strict adherence to applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Handle HR-related statutory compliance, including PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, etc.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to monitor compliance and develop corrective measures as needed.
- Liaise with government authorities and inspectors to address compliance matters and ensure smooth audits.
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to the management on compliance matters and process improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely processing of formalities related to statutory compliances.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and compliance frameworks and communicate updates to the internal team.
- Prepare and present reports related to compliance and payroll functions for regulatory purposes and internal review.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 10+ years of relevant experience in statutory compliance and HR payroll.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory obligations, and compliance frameworks in India.
- Proficiency in handling end-to-end payroll processing along with a good understanding of taxation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- A proactive problem-solver with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset with the capability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
