ASST. ELECTRICAL MANAGER FERRO PRODUCTION FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• Operations & Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Submerged Arc Furnaces (SAF), furnace transformers, EOT cranes, and LT/HT panels to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
• Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance: Implement Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PMS) for plant machinery, including raw material feeding systems, conveyor belts, dryers, and dedusting systems.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical faults, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to minimize production downtime.
• Shift Supervision: Lead and mentor a team of electricians/technicians, assign daily tasks, and manage shift handovers to ensure continuous 24/7 operations.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including Electrical Safety Standards (EHS), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, and PPE compliance, especially in high-temperature environments.
• Production Monitoring: Observe furnace parameters (power load, electrode position, tapping) and raw material feeding, preparing daily production/consumption reports.
• Inventory & Coordination: Manage spares availability, initiate procurement requests for maintenance, and coordinate with mechanical and production departments.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of HT/LT systems, PLC-controlled systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor control.
• Specialized Machinery: Experience with Submerged Arc Furnaces (SAF), electrode management, and furnace transformers.
• Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial electrical systems.
• Leadership: Ability to supervise a team of technicians and contract staff.
• Documentation: Proficiency in creating maintenance logs, SAP entries, and SOPs.

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 3–8 years of electrical maintenance experience in a ferroalloy plant or steel plant (e.g., SAF operation).
• Location/Status: Typically requires readiness to work in rotating shifts at manufacturing locations (e.g., Raipur/Raigarh/Jharsuguda).
