As an IT/Cloud Consultant at Kyndryl you will join the Kyndryl Consultant Profession, working with other Kyndryl Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and cross-functional Technical Subject Matter Experts – presenting unlimited opportunities with unmatched support through our investment in your learning, training, and career growth.Who You AreYou’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others.Required Technical and Professional Experience14+ Yrs Experience in Mainframe Application technologies and management processes - Consulting experience of Mainframe Infrastructure technologies.Experience of complex Application portfolio migration to Cloud or Hybrid Platform.Consultancy experience of assessing, planning mainframe application development, maintenance & transformation.Architectural experience of large customer change and transformation projects, with particular emphasis on delivering complex Mainframe and Midrange application projects.Strong communication and client facing skills.This is a leadership role and candidates must be experienced in dealing with senior client counterparts and other key stakeholders.Significant Mainframe and Midrange solutions design and implementation. Plus at least two of the following.Mainframe Infrastructure technologies and management processes - Consulting experience of Mainframe Infrastructure technologies.In depth knowledge and experience of IBM Mainframe and Midrange hardware and software including connectivity between Mainframe and other platforms.Strong understanding of IBM mainframe and midrange operating systems and Software Products as well as 3rd party softwarePerforming of Application Disposition Analysis for Hybrid Multi-CloudDelivery of an Application Modernization Roadmap program, interfacing with Cloud, application, development, QA and BA teamsLeverage tools like; EAV, CAST Highlight, CAST Imaging, CloudGenera, Flexera Cloudscape; etc.Preferred Technical and Professional ExperiencePerform as expert on application development for existing or new applications.Advising clients on application development methodology and tools.Hybrid Cloud – Consulting experience of mainframe technologies in private and edge services and solutions.Modern Operations – Consulting experience of legacy and modern operations tooling to control and observe the platforms, products and applications running on systems.
