- Support the local sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.
- Prepare and support the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business unit/feeder factory indications, and sales organization directives.
- Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and sales organization inputs.
- Perform lost proposal analysis, identify the potential causes, and recommend future actions to improve success rates.
- Specialized knowledge of Continuous Water Analyzers (CWA), Continuous Gas Analyzers (CGA), Industrial Process Analyzers, Gas Chromatograph, Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS), and Analytical Systems.
- Experience in product selection and configuration, quotation preparation, technical document compliance, vendor coordination, full-cost model calculation, and technical query clarification.
- Knowledge of sales operations tools – Salesforce Opportunity Management, Reports, and Dashboards.
- Exposure and understanding of the industrial processes - Power Plant, Water, Metals & Minerals, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper.
- Full time Diploma or B.E./B. Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering.
- 3-7 years of relevant work experience in sales support, bids, and proposals.
