
Analyst Offshoring & Outsourcing Clearance Support (VMO O&O)

- Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC)for onshore BU/CC teams during the full O&O clearance lifecycle.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Compliance, Legal, Information Security, Business Continuity, and Migrations.
- Support Risk Clearance processes (e.g., Outsourcing Management, Third-Party Risk Management).
- Assist with Compliance Clearance processes (e.g., Cross-Border Data Management, Data Privacy).
- Document and coordinate regulatory communications as required by jurisdiction.
- Collect, validate, and organize clearance documentation ensuring completeness and consistency.
- Maintain a centralized repository with proper categorization, version control, and access control.
- Develop and enhance standardized templates, tools, and trackers to improve documentation quality and reduce redundancies.
- Monitor progress of clearance requests and escalate delays or potential risks to appropriate parties.
- Leverage historical clearance data to proactively improve future clearance timelines.
- Implement process improvements and identify opportunities for automation.
- Support training and onboarding of new team members, focusing on O&O processes and policy adherence.
- Ensure leave planning and team capacity are aligned with ongoing O&O clearance priorities.
- Collaborate with regional teams to improve the efficiency and compliance of the clearance framework.
- Actively contribute to policy development, centralization initiatives, and governance reporting.
- Bachelors degree in business, Risk Management, Compliance, or related fields.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, vendor risk management, or operations within the financial services industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks, especially around outsourcing and third-party management.
- Experience working in a cross-functional, regional, or global team environment.
- Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective stakeholder collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other documentation tools; experience in automation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk mitigation practices in APAC markets is desirable.
- Flexibility to work in different shift timings.
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies that drive positive cost impact.
- Drive a culture of cost management discipline across all levels to meet established cost targets.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives, including data quality, system enhancement, and automation.
- Contribute to structured governance forums with regular reporting on clearance performance metrics.
- Ensure all risk, compliance, and mandatory training requirements are completed in a timely manner.
- Foster transparent stakeholder engagement and uphold MUFGsvalues of trust, integrity, and compliance.
