The Project Head – Mining is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and management of mining projects (greenfield or brownfield). This role ensures timely project completion while maintaining statutory compliance, operational efficiency, safety, cost control, and team coordination. The role involves direct interaction with regulatory bodies, contractors, and senior management.📌 Key Responsibilities:Oversee end-to-end execution of mining projects, including planning, infrastructure development, resource allocation, and operations.Prepare and monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables in line with company objectives.Lead mine development activities including overburden removal, drilling, blasting, and excavation.Ensure compliance with all DGMS, environmental, and other statutory regulations.Coordinate with external agencies, government departments, and local authorities for project approvals and clearances.Develop and lead a high-performance team of engineers, supervisors, and site staff.Implement best practices in safety, health, and environmental management systems.Evaluate and select mining equipment, technologies, and contractors.Regularly report project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to top management.Drive cost optimization, quality control, and productivity improvements.🎓 Qualifications:B.E. / B.Tech in Mining Engineering (mandatory)MBA / PGDM in Project or Operations Management (preferred)Valid DGMS Mines Manager Certificate (First/Second Class) for statutory roles💼 Experience:10-15 years of experience in the mining industryProven track record in handling large-scale mining projects (open-cast or underground)Strong leadership in project execution and statutory compliance🧠 Key Skills:Mining Project Planning & ExecutionStatutory and Environmental ComplianceTeam Leadership & Contractor ManagementBudgeting & Cost ControlStakeholder & Government LiaisonStrong Technical Knowledge (Mining methods & machinery)Familiarity with mining software like SURPAC / Minex / AutoCADJOB APPLYhttp://jobs.vinayakjob.com/CONTACT DETAILS - Name - NAMRATA Number - 9109999660 Mail id - namrata@vinayakjob.com
