Key Skills: IBM Informix DB & 4GL, System Architecture, Retail Systems, AIX/UNIX, SDLC Tools, Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)Job Summary:We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect with deep expertise in IBM Informix Database and Informix 4GL to lead the design, modernization, and technical delivery of retail domain systems. This is a hands-on architecture role involving legacy systems analysis, design documentation, performance optimization, and team leadership.Key Responsibilities:Lead architecture and design for small to mid-sized projects using Informix DB and 4GL.Modernize and optimize legacy systems in complex retail environments (e.g., POS, inventory, supply chain).Analyze and document existing systems, create design diagrams, and recommend scalable solutions.Guide development teams, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.Support estimation, planning, and technical proposal development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) in Agile environments.Conduct technical audits and suggest automation or process improvements.Preferred Experience:Strong exposure to AIX/UNIX environments.Familiarity with SDLC tools (JIRA, Git, Azure DevOps).Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Skills:IBM Informix Database,Retail System Experience,SDLC tools,Cloud PlatformsAbout Company:UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider.
