- Design & Development: Create and design products, systems, and tools based on customer requirements, industry standards, and technical specifications.
- Feasibility & Research: Conduct research and testing to check the viability of design ideas, including reviewing and providing feedback on designs from other engineers.
- Documentation & Maintenance: Maintain and update technical manuals, drawings, and specifications, including creating detailed tooling and assembly drawings.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve design-related issues, making necessary modifications to designs.
- Collaboration & Cost Control: Work with manufacturing, quality control, and other departments to ensure designs are cost-effective, feasible, and economically viable.
- Experience: 2 - 3 years of experience in AutoCAD design and tooling.
- Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical components, engineering drawings, and Tooling items.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot design issues and perform technical calculations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Background: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical
