This role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closure. The Business Development Manager collaborates closely with the marketing, presales, and academic teams to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients and learners, ultimately contributing to Jaro Education's mission of expanding access to quality education.Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching industry trends, networking with potential clients, and attending relevant events to expand Jaro Education's market reach.- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline, prioritizing opportunities, and accurately forecasting sales.- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at corporate clients by understanding their training needs, presenting tailored solutions, and providing ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction.- Collaborate with the presales and academic teams to create compelling proposals and presentations by leveraging product knowledge, market insights, and client feedback to effectively communicate the value proposition of Jaro Education's programs.- Manage and mentor a team of inside sales representatives by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure the team meets or exceeds its sales targets.- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics by tracking key indicators, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to optimize sales effectiveness.Required Skillset :- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies, driving revenue growth and expanding market share.- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of educational programs.- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of sales professionals to achieve targets.- Experience in education sales, inside sales, or presales, with a strong understanding of the EdTech industry.- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.- Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
