- Lead and manage all plant maintenance activities including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utilities.
- Ensure smooth operation and preventive maintenance of API manufacturing equipment, reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and utility systems.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements in maintenance operations.
- Maintain utilities such as boilers, chillers, HVAC, cooling towers, compressors, and water systems.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgeting, and vendor coordination.
- Lead a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Implement TPM, root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure plant safety standards and statutory compliance related to equipment and utilities.
- Strong knowledge of API manufacturing equipment and utilities.
- Experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical plants.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and SAP/CMMS.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of EHS and regulatory compliance.
