Position:Asst. Manager - Project & Maintenance(Chemical)Location:Sarigam near by VapiExperience: 6 - 7 YearsIndustries:ChemicalResponsibilities:
  • Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
  • Comply Statutory REQUIREMENTS, FACTORY inspector, Electricity board, Boiler
  • INSPECTOR, MPCB AND DISH.
  • Prepare Annual preventive Maintenance plan and monitor the status.
  • Plan and comply with safety and Energy audits as per schedule.
  • Action plan to reduce utility costs.
  • Initiate to procure maintenance related spares
  • Verify and analyses breakdowns and take necessary action
  • Ensure testing and calibration of EQUIPMENT ‘S, & calibration and stamping of weighing systems.
  • Verify good housekeeping practice during maintenance activity
  • Initiate and authorize the Work permit as per WPS for hot and cold work when necessary.
  • Verify and Monitoring the Hazardous waste like used oil, lead acid battery etc., generation
  • and disposal to as per applicable norms.
  • Handling and utilization Department Manpower.
  • Initiate the procedure for any change required in the department.
  • Verify and monitor daily utility consumption.
  • Preparing monthly reports.
  • Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
  • Create and implement maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
  • Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
  • Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
  • Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
  • Monitoring the equipment efficiency and take necessary action for efficient use of M/c and equipment.
  • Maintain and update the Factory layout plan, building plan and facility plan and co-ordinate with Regulatory authority.
  • Identify the hazard and implement the risk reduction measures to reduce the risk severity and probability.
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Developing of vendors, contractors & suppliers
  • Identify the resource requirements and take necessary approval for new projects.
  • Planning and preparing execution chart
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensuring the quality of work and procured equipment.
Required Skills:
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead the team of production department.
  • Production Planning tracking & review.
