We are looking for a skilled Desktop & Application Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth functioning of desktop systems, applications, and IT infrastructure across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop systems (Windows 10 & Windows 11)Manage and support Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook client configurationPerform OS installation, formatting, upgrades, and patch managementHandle IP configuration, network connectivity issues, and basic LAN troubleshootingDiagnose and resolve hardware issues for desktops/workstations (HP, Dell, etc.)Work with Windows Registry, system settings, and performance tuningProvide support for application-related issues and software installationsPerform data backup and recovery activitiesMaintain IT asset inventory and documentationManage and support around 500+ client machines in an enterprise environmentProvide remote and on-site technical support to end-usersEnsure timely resolution of tickets as per SLACoordinate with vendors for hardware/service-related issuesRequired Skills:Strong knowledge of Windows OS (10 & 11)Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office & Outlook configurationBasic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP)Experience with hardware troubleshooting (HP/Dell desktops & workstations)Knowledge of OS deployment, imaging tools, and patch managementFamiliarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)Understanding of Active Directory (user management, group policies)Basic knowledge of antivirus and endpoint security toolsPreferred Skills:Experience with remote support tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, etc.)Knowledge of Office 365 / Microsoft 365 administrationExposure to backup solutions and data recovery toolsUnderstanding of ITIL processesScripting knowledge (PowerShell basics) is a plusSoft Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving abilityAbility to handle multiple users and prioritize tasksClient-handling experience in corporate environmentsAdditional Requirements:Proven experience managing large-scale environments (500+ systems)Ability to work independently and in a teamPowered by JazzHR
