Job Description:Cost Accountant - Working knowledge of SAP (MM & FI module), Leading Budgeting exercise of the factory, Ensuring Insurance compliances, Inventory management, Perpetual Inventory Audit, Monitoring factory stock at all storage locations including at vendor locations, Internal controls over financial reporting of Inventory Management, Variance analysis of expenses, periodic general ledger scrutiny, Taxation, Finance MIS related to factory operations, Monitoring Cost Centre and Project Related Expenses of the factory, Preparing Cost Audit related working & its finalization, Cost Audit, Statutory Compliances related to Costing, Man / Machine Hour Rate Finalization & updating in SAP, Monitoring Man / Machine hour utilization, Under-over recovery of factory expenses, Management presentation/report, Monthly/quarterly account closing activities viz expense provisioning, Slow/Non-moving provisioning, stock to consumption entries, Inter-unit reconciliation etc.
