
IT Support Engineer

- Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other end-user equipment.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
- Troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity (LAN/WAN), VPN access, and internet services.
- Support engineering teams with specialized software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, or other industry-specific applications.
- Manage and maintain IT inventory, licenses, and documentation.
- Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory profiles.
- Assist with server support, backups, patch management, and basic system administration tasks.
- Monitor system performance and respond to incidents as per SLAs.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers for hardware or software issues.
- Participate in IT projects related to system upgrades, cybersecurity, or infrastructure improvements.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and data protection regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.
- Experience with Windows OS (client and server), Office 365, and networking basics (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
- Familiarity with engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.) is a significant advantage.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and safe computing practices.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for supporting non-technical users.
