Job TitleBranch Sales SupportFunctionRegional BusinessReporting toSales Manager1. PurposeResponsible for billing and invoicing activities in the branch. Also responsible for following up for timely collections from customers (as per contractual terms and conditions) and resolution of any queries regarding billing and payments2. Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesOperationalCoordinate with the Branch Finance & Accounts Team for timely generation of bills for the branch customersEnsure accuracy of the generated bills through by verifying all bills/ invoices as per Blue Dart norms prior to forwarding to clientsEnsure timely dispatch of bills to customers as per schedule and follow up with customers for bill receiptEnsure customization of bills as per forms/ formats required, contractual terms and conditions, customer requirements, etc.Ensure coordination with Finance Teams for resolution of any queries/ issues regarding billing; Ensure that disputes (if any) are closed before the payment dateWork closely with the sales teams to ensure timely collections from customers as per the raised billsFollow up with customers in cases of pending payments / short payments / part paymentsEnsure reporting of invoices dispatched and cheque collection details to the Branch Finance & Accounts Teams on a regular basisPeopleProvide direction, guidance and support to employees within the sales team in the branch to help them discharge their duties effectivelyEnsure that the sales team in the branch is adequately staffed as per the manpower requirements3.
