As a Global Quality Compliance Professional, you will be a key contributor to our Global Capability Center (GCC), supporting Lonza’s strategy to maintain its license to operate by reducing quality and compliance risks. You will drive remote, questionnaire-based supplier assessments and oversight activities, ensuring the integrity of our global supply chain and maintaining the highest standards of GMP compliance to help bring life-changing therapies to market.What you will getAn agile career and dynamic working culture.An inclusive and ethical workplace.Compensation programs that recognize high performance.Global exposure and the opportunity to work collaboratively across global quality and compliance workstreams.Comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance and wellness programs.What you will doSupplier Assessment Management: Execute remote, desk-based supplier quality assessments using structured questionnaires and risk-based evaluation tools to identify compliance gaps and inconsistencies.Risk-Based Program Design: Develop and maintain risk-based audit programs and questionnaires, incorporating regulatory trends, stakeholder inputs, and Quality Risk Management (QRM) principles.CAPA & Remediation: Evaluate the effectiveness of proposed CAPA and remediation plans based on questionnaire findings, providing guidance to sites and suppliers to ensure alignment with Lonza standards.Internal Assessments: Assist in planning and executing questionnaire-based internal assessments for global Lonza sites, focusing on medium and low-risk areas to ensure global standardization.Performance Reporting: Monitor supplier trends, manage KPI reporting, and perform risk ranking to initiate corrective actions where required.Inspection Readiness: Support global sites during regulatory inspections by performing targeted pre-inspection data collection and identifying potential compliance gaps.Regulatory Intelligence: Analyze external regulatory intelligence (e.g., warning letters, inspection trends) to refine assessment focus areas and prevent recurrence of systemic risks.Process Optimization: Lead projects aimed at enhancing digital assessment platforms and standardizing global questionnaire templates and frameworks.Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for assigned global suppliers, coordinating communication and providing GMP subject matter expertise to internal and external partners.What we are looking forExperience: Significant experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry, specifically in Quality Assurance, Compliance, or Auditing (Supplier Quality experience highly preferred).Education: Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related Life Sciences; advanced degree is a plus.Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of GMP/Quality compliance requirements and Quality Risk Management (QRM) principles; familiarity with remote auditing best practices.Software Proficiency: Comfortable with digital audit platforms, tracking tools (e.g., TrackWise), and Microsoft Office Suite.Soft Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills; ability to handle complex documentation and provide critical reviews of supplier data.Communication: Business fluency in English with the ability to provide constructive feedback and collaborate across diverse global teams.Mindset: A proactive, quality-focused professional who takes personal accountability and demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement.About LonzaAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
