- Strategize the roadmap for the team for the next 5 years and setting up the objectives and key results accordingly for each year.
- Identify the skills that are currently in demand in the industry and ensure we build the curriculum that provides exposure and hands-on training for the youth.
- Oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operations including effective delivery of the sessions, assessments, impact evaluation, volunteer mobilization, communication, budgeting & finance.
- Build structures, systems to support the execution of the programmes with a focus on continuous learning, improvement, and rapid growth.
- Collaborate with Academic Institutions, NGOs, corporates, funders, government & the community to increase the reach and impact of the programmes
- Report on the timely implementation of the goals for the project to the executive management committee and the board.
- Advocate the importance of skilling programs for underprivileged youth in the rural community.
- Create Learning and Development programs for the trainers to ensure they are updated and also building in-house capacity of taking up new industry advancements.
- Collaborate with NGOs teams and partner NGOs who work with similar beneficiaries and extend support for upskilling them
- Collaborate with the NGO’s civic and corporate volunteering teams to maximize volunteer engagement.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the social sector and at least 2 -3 years in the skilling sector is preferable.
- Prior experience in project management and leading teams is mandatory.
- Any Graduate.
- Should be entrepreneurial, have a growth mindset, excited by challenges and open to learning
- Should have a good understanding of either IT Skilling or the Skilling eco-system generally or both
- Strong leadership development and team building capabilities
- Ability to drive outcome-oriented plans through the team’s collective effort
- Good influencing skills, people engagement, networking and listening skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Highly resourceful team-player, who is self-driven with high ownership
- Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
