Department: Transformer DivisionJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager for our Transformer Division who will oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Electrical Engineering and possess a strong understanding of transformer production, quality control, and manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:Production Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the transformer production line to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
Develop and implement production plans and schedules to optimize resources and reduce downtime.
Monitor the production process to ensure timely delivery of transformers while maintaining product quality.

Team Leadership:

Lead, train, and manage production staff, including engineers, technicians, and operators.
Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork, safety, and adherence to industry standards.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance for continuous improvement.

Quality Control:

Ensure that all transformers produced meet industry standards and customer specifications.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to implement and enforce stringent quality control procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.

Process Optimization:

Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality.
Implement lean manufacturing practices and monitor KPIs to track performance and identify bottlenecks.
Continuously improve production processes using Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process optimization techniques.

Maintenance and Equipment Management:

Ensure that all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and available for production.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to schedule preventive maintenance and resolve any equipment failures or downtime.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and training programs to ensure a safe working environment.
Monitor production processes for potential hazards and enforce safety protocols.

Cost Management:

Monitor production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overheads, and work to stay within budget.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies for resource optimization.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate production records and reports on production performance, output, quality issues, and other key metrics.
Report to senior management on production status, challenges, and proposed solutions.

Qualifications:Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in transformer manufacturing or electrical equipment manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of electrical transformer design, manufacturing processes, and materials.
Proven experience in managing teams and optimizing production workflows.

Skills:

Strong understanding of transformer production processes, electrical engineering principles, and materials used in transformer manufacturing.
Proficiency in production planning and control systems, including ERP software.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot problems, and make data-driven decisions.

Certifications (preferred):

Any relevant certifications in quality management, project management, or lean manufacturing would be an advantage.
