Department: Direct Marketing (DM) ChannelReporting To: Chief Manager - Direct Marketing Channel SupportLocation: Industry: Life InsuranceRole Objective:To provide strategic and operational support to the Direct Marketing Channel, ensuring seamless coordination between marketing, sales, technology, compliance, and service teams. The role is designed to enhance business outcomes by driving process improvements, campaign execution support, and MIS/reporting to empower decision-making and execution at scale.Key Responsibilities:1. Campaign Execution & Support- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring lead generation and conversion campaigns for the DM channel.- Coordinate with vendors, internal marketing teams, and tech support to ensure campaign go-live as per schedule.- Ensure timely communication flow (SMS, email, WhatsApp) aligned with compliance and business objectives.2. Sales Enablement- Partner with the DM sales team to ensure Business Managers have the required tools, product information, and training support.- Create and update sales decks, EDMs, Training material, and assist in onboarding new joiners in the channel.3. Data, Reporting & MIS- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on business performance, campaign analytics, lead funnel metrics, and agent productivity.- Analyse trends and flag deviations in KPIs to the Chief Manager for proactive actions.- Liaise with Analytics teams / IT for dashboards or customized reporting requirements.4. Process & Operations Management- Identify and close gaps in channel processes to improve efficiency - onboarding, payout reconciliation, policy issuance tracking, etc.- Liaise with Operations, Customer Service, and IT for resolution of process-related bottlenecks.5. Compliance, Audit & Quality- Ensure all channel activities are aligned with IRDAI regulations, internal risk frameworks, and brand guidelines.- Support in documentation, audit preparedness, process notes, and closure of internal/external audit observations.6. Stakeholder Management- Prepare business review presentations and updates for senior leadership and governance forums.7. Digital Initiatives & Innovation- Assist in ideation and execution of automation, Pilot projects, and digital enablers to improve channel outcomes.- Track adoption of digital tools among advisors and recommend ways to increase usage.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):- TAT adherence for campaign rollouts and service requests- Quality and timeliness of MIS reports- Process improvement impact (efficiency, cost, time)- Productivity support effectiveness- Stakeholder feedback and coordination effectivenessQualifications & Experience:- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent- 3-5 years of experience in channel support, preferably in Life insurance or financial services- Exposure to Direct Marketing or Digital Sales is a strong plusSkills & Competencies:- Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Process-oriented with attention to detail- Project management and multi-tasking ability- Familiarity with CRM tools, LMS, and digital campaign platforms is desirable (ref:updazz.com)
