The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and conducting research in the field of child health nursing. The candidate will also be expected to assist in the development of new courses and programs in the department.Responsibilities:
Teach courses in child health nursing, including but not limited to child growth and development, pediatric nursing, and neonatal nursing.
Conduct research in the field of child health nursing and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Assist in the development of new courses and programs in the department.
Serve on departmental and college committees as assigned.
Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in the department.
Qualifications:
A PhD in child health nursing or a related field.
A record of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Experience teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
Demonstrated ability to develop and conduct research in child health nursing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
