SECTION III: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the end-to-end IT infrastructure strategy, implementation, and operations for Raymond Realty. The Senior IT Infrastructure resource will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of all IT infrastructure components including networks, servers, storage, cloud environments, and end-user computing systems. This role will play a critical part in aligning IT infrastructure with business objectives, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and driving innovation in the real estate technology landscape. The role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across departments. The IT Infrastructure Lead is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance and retirement of the systems and personnel that are at the core of an organization. The services under the responsibility of the Infrastructure Manager are typically supporting services that enable the delivery of customer-facing IT services.
SECTION IV: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE
Strategic Infrastructure Management:
  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of the IT infrastructure roadmap, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with business goals.
  • Procurement & Cost Control – Authorized to evaluate, recommend, and approve purchases of IT infrastructure assets, software, and services within approved financial limits.
Operations & Service Delivery:
  • Oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, support services, and vendor management to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance with SLAs.
  • Scalability for Future Expansion – Design infrastructure with scalability in mind to support future geographical expansion and new site development.
  • Multi-location Support – Ensure seamless infrastructure operations, connectivity, and support services across corporate headquarters, regional offices, and remote construction sites
Security, Risk & Compliance:
  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures, manage IT risks, and ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational compliance standards.
Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Manage and mentor the IT infrastructure team while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to support business initiatives and digital transformation.
  • Manage Servers that includes operating systems, physical and virtual servers.
  • Responsible for Storage, backups and disaster recovery as and when required
  • Manage the staff and equipment that handles switching, routing, and in some cases perimeter devices (firewalls)
  • Manage infrastructure through Software monitoring, device, OS patching and configuration management tools.
  • Resolve discrepancies between projects or functional areas
  • Build a strong relationship with the security team to ensure smooth infrastructure service operations
  • Responsible for establishing strong partnerships with external vendors to set clear expectations regarding access agreements negotiations, establishing service level agreements, and ensuring contracts are in place to support the services provided by the infrastructure team
  • Establish and Implement SOPs for efficient Techonology Management across the Organisation
  • Manage the Continuous Improvements in Customer Satisfaction to review system performance and resolve open issues

Infrastructure Availability, Performance & Reliability:
Ensure uninterrupted availability and optimal performance of all IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, cloud platforms, and data centers. This includes proactive monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, and managing high-availability and disaster recovery setups to minimize downtime and business disruption. Take Ownership of all Incidents, Problems and ensuring satisfactory resolution. Accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities when required. Lead the FMS team to continually improve the computing environment. 35%
IT Operations & Service Delivery Excellence:
Oversee end-to-end IT infrastructure operations, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs), and effective asset management. Drive operational efficiency by standardizing processes, implementing automation where feasible, and ensuring high end-user satisfaction across locations. Enterprise level Inventory managment with escalation matrix and co-ordination for quick resolution of major incidents. Analysing server/network uptime reports and recommending improvements wherever required, Tracking major incidents until close with timely information to respective stake holders. Make recommendations for Service Improvement Plans and ensure actions are followed through to completion in a timely manner. Provide regular and accurate management reporting on IT Service performance 25%
Security, Compliance & Risk Management:
Lead the implementation of robust cybersecurity practices, including network security, endpoint protection, and access control. Ensure that IT infrastructure complies with applicable regulations, audit standards, and internal policies. Proactively assess and mitigate infrastructure-related risks through regular reviews, threat assessments, and continuity planning. Manage the computing environment to ensure that laptops, PC's and other access devices are built and maintained to high standards of performance and security 20%
Team Leadership & Strategic Projects Execution:
Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership to the IT infrastructure team and external vendors. Plan and deliver key infrastructure projects such as upgrades, cloud migrations, new site setups, and tool implementations within time and budget. Foster a high-performance culture and ensure alignment of technology initiatives with Raymond Realty’s business objectives. 20%

SECTION VI: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY & GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE (as applicable)
Financial Accountability (with exclusive authority) IT Infrastructure Budgeting – Responsible for preparing and managing the annual IT infrastructure budget, including capital and operational expenditures.
Geographical Scope Pan-India Responsibility – The role encompasses oversight of IT infrastructure across all Raymond Realty offices, project sites, and facilities throughout India..
SECTION VII: KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education Qualification BE/B.Sc in IT, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or a related field from a recognized Indian university or institute.
Master’s Degree (M.Tech/MBA in IT Systems) is preferred and will be an added advantage
Technical & Professional Knowledge required(What someone NEEDS TO KNOW) Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect/Engineer, CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, , VMware, ITIL, or CISSP are highly desirable.
Understanding of IT applications and infrastructure needs specific to the real estate sector (e.g., ERP systems, property management software, remote site connectivity, smart building technologies) will be a strong advantage.
Experience required(What someone NEEDS TO HAVE DONE) 10–15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a senior/lead role.
Hands-on expertise in managing networks, servers, cloud platforms, and data centers in enterprise environments.
Proven experience in infrastructure projects, IT operations across multiple sites, and vendor management.
Exposure to real estate or construction industry IT systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, site connectivity) is preferred.
Deep understanding of projects to gain insights into the scope of service delivery
