Hiring for Windows Server Administrator - HyderabadJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Windows Server Administrator to manage and maintain our Windows Server infrastructure. Strong background in server setup, configuration, patching, performance tuning, and security. You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability and optimal performance of Windows-based systems across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems (2012/2016/2019/2022).Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows infrastructure services.Monitor server performance, apply patches, and ensure system integrity and security.Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery preparedness.Manage server virtualization environments (Hyper-V, VMware).Implement and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation.Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.Collaborate with network and security teams to manage firewall, antivirus, and compliance requirements.Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.Provide support for system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and industry regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in Windows Server administration.Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.Experience with virtualization platforms like Hyper-V and/or VMware.Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation tools.Familiarity with backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, Windows Backup).Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN).Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, AZ-104) preferred.
