We work on high-impact national and international industrial projects, ensuring technical excellence, sustainability, and innovative design.Position Overview :- We are seeking Electrical Engineers (1- 15 years of experience) with strong expertise in electrical design and engineering for large-scale industrial projects.- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in detailed engineering, design calculations, electrical schematics, and compliance with international codes and standards.Key Responsibilities :Engineering & Design :- Perform basic and detailed electrical engineering tasks including:- Lighting calculations using Dialux.- Earthing & Lightning Protection system design.- Sizing calculations for Transformers, Switchgear, Cables, etc.- Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and electrical schematics for industrial projects.- Prepare and review equipment specifications, datasheets, reports, and technical bid analyses.Detailed Engineering Deliverables :- Review of vendor drawings, GA drawings, equipment layouts, and engineering documentation.- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQs), cable schedules, interconnection diagrams, and wiring details.- Plan and design cableways, lighting layouts, earthing layouts, and overall electrical system architecture.Compliance & Standards :- Ensure adherence to national and international standards including:- IS, IEC, IEEE, EN, NEC, NFPA, and other applicable codes.- Ensure quality, accuracy, and safety compliance across engineering deliverables.Desirable Skills & Tools- Proficiency in ETAP for:- Load Flow Analysis- Short Circuit Studies- Motor Starting Studies- Relay Coordination- Harmonic Analysis- Experience in electrical design consulting for:- Industrial plants- Power plants- Oil & Gas facilities- Large-scale engineering projectsCandidate Profile :We are hiring across multiple experience levels (1- 15 years):- 1- 3 Years: Strong fundamentals, exposure to electrical design tools, ability to work under guidance.- 3- 5 Years: Independent task handling, vendor interactions, detailed engineering exposure.- 5- 10 Years: Lead small project modules, handle client discussions, ensure engineering compliance.- 10+ Years: In-depth industrial experience, ability to lead teams, manage project deliverables, client coordination.Key Competencies :- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.- Ability to read and create engineering drawings.- Strong communication and documentation skills.- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy.Why Join IDOM?- Opportunity to work on international and large-scale engineering projects.- Exposure to cutting edge engineering technologies and global best practices.- Professional growth in a collaborative and innovative environment.
