This is an exciting opportunity to make impactful decisions, apply your expertise, and ensure the successful delivery of projects from inception to site commissioning.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • Lead Technical Projects: Drive technical project activities, lead customer kick-off meetings, and ensure successful project execution from design to commissioning.
  • Customer and Project Management: Participate in project risk reviews, manage project budgets in term of man-days allocated to the engineering tasks, and provide regular progress updates.
  • Design and Documentation: Analyse customer specifications, write project technical documentation, and validate technical solutions with customers.
  • Technical Oversight: Specify software and IEDs, manage technical execution planning, and ensure adherence to GE Vernova safety standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Address technical deviations, manage fault reports, and support site engineers remotely or on-site.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Lead Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, and coordinate with commissioning teams for major site milestones.
  • Training and Support: Provide project-specific training to customers, support tendering and commercial teams, and ensure customer satisfaction through professional project execution.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: B.E or Btech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Over five years of protection and electrical design engineering-related experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of protection functions, electrical scheme, and cubicle design.
Design Expertise: Proficient in designing and configuring protection relays and network studies.GE Substation Automation Solutions: Preferred candidates will have proven knowledge in this area.Travel: Ability to travel globally.Desired Characteristics
  • Automation and protection Systems: In-depth knowledge of automation electrical scheme, detailed design of electrical protection relays (LV, MV & HV), and network studies.
  • Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Independent and Flexible: Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with a flexible approach to working hours.
